Via Ferrata
An exciting climbing trail and a 250 meter long zipline are just some of what awaits you when you arrive at Via Ferrata Halden Canal.
From the Nepalese suspension bridge you have a great view up and down the canal, and in the Via Ferrata in the mountains you traverse over the mountainside in the direction of the locks. When you reach the top, a 250 meter long and 80 meter high zipline takes you back across the canal!
The attraction is suitable for children from 10 years and up, so here the whole family can have fun together!
Brekke Locks
4 lock chambers, and a lifting height of 26.6 meters make Brekke Locks Northern Europe's highest continuous lock ladder. An attraction in itself, and a favorite tourist destination in the Halden Canal. Are you wondering what it feels like to sit in a small canoe and at the same time be locked up and down many meters of altitude? Combine climbing in the Via Ferrata Halden Canal with a canoe trip on the canal.
Guaranteed an exciting experience for the whole family!

Via Ferrata
Via Ferrata is Italian and originally means railway or railway. A traditional Via Ferrata consists of fixed installations in the form of iron bars and wires that are bolted to the rock. The technique is used as an aid in climbing, and makes areas more accessible to everyone. Regardless of climbing skills.
Via Ferrata Halden Canal is ready to receive you in Brekke Sluser!
